I have a few in a built-in closet where I had a moisture problem. After about 2 weeks each of the dryers is about 150g heavier, they really work. I'm buying more. I wouldn't dry the room with it, a couple of them are great for the closet.

I tried to understand how this equipment works and after a brief research I got it. This equipment use silica crystals to collect the humidity from the air. The material needs be heated in order to activate the crystals (for this use power supply).Thus, when you buy expect some heat in the equipment but is totally safe and words very well.

It overheats terribly, I'm afraid to put it in the socket. I bought 2 pcs, they both heat the same so it's probably a feature and not a defect.
The colour difference between the dried and wet filling is insignificant so it is difficult to tell the condition
