It smelled for the first few hours, but that's common with cheap heaters. Except for the thermostat, it works fine for me. It can run at max for over two hours straight, and I have yet to have it shut down on its own.
A small room will warm up just fine in an hour.

We haven't burned out yet.
The thermostat only works from option 3 to option 6. If you turn it down to option 2, it throws a spark and shuts off.
