I was worried about handling water after the acquisition. So far I have had a good experience and the unit does not leak and when the reservoir is put on there is no water all around the unit. I am very happy for the design workmanship. Furthermore, I am very satisfied with the noise level. We use the device in the bedroom and can sleep with it fine. Occasionally when adding water to the bottom tank there is a bubble, but it has never woke me up. So, satisfaction so far.
