I have connected to a MacBook Pro 15" i7, model 2016.
Can power a laptop (with the included USB-C cable)
No drivers needed, everything works out-of-box, no need to fiddle with cables etc.
I have two 2560x1440 monitors connected via the dock. One HDMI cable, one USB-C->DisplayPort cable (included)
The price is higher, but what to expect when it is the only functional product on the market.
