it can work both Mac and windows. if you have a windows of without usb-c port (but with fast usb) this is a great product
it asks you to install a software. and for Mac, requires a couple of privileges. suspicion

2 monitors - great. Standard for office applications today.
probably can't charge via USB-C or USB - we didn't use it with HP Probook 650 G8 (natively when connected)
no plug & play (although easy, necessary software installation and only then "recovery" - i.e. the possibility to use LAN etc. )
HDMI ports degrade the monitor frequency. In W10 it only offers 50/60 Hz. When connecting ext. monitor directly to the NTB (the aforementioned 650 G8) will offer the correct frequency ranges according to the capabilities of the graphics card (up to 144 Hz) with the Samsung partno LC27RG50FQRXEN monitor.
it's a pity, that the manufacturer does not offer a variant 2x Display port. Today again the standard. Generally, monitors with a frequency above 100 Hz like to be categorized as "gaming", which I consider a mistake. Any frequency higher than 100 Hz makes our eyes darker, or for office applications we are globally lacking product lines, and that of all manufacturers.
