I've been looking for a cheap option, and I got it. I'm thinking of returning/recycling and buying a much better option.

it's very warm and it's only February
from time to time (especially the first half hour) the hdmi "restarts", so the monitor goes black (I use only one)
from time to time I see a 1-5px bar on the screen for a fraction of a second (Like when the old analog TV was switched off)

The replicator is unusable. Just download the manual from the i-tec website, where you can find the real parameters of the replicator. I'm returning the goods.
The replicator has completely different parameters as listed on the ALZA page. Instead of 60Hz, the Display port and HDMI output is actually only 30Hz
