Caution - since the drives are still registered as USB-connected, Windows will not allow you to raid them with software. It's not a defect of enclosura, it's just how it works in windows.
Really finally 3.2 gen 2 enclosura
No problem when connecting 4x 18TB HDDs
I/O with all 4 disks at max was around 250MB/s per disk (i.e. 1GB/s almost to the outside), which no other enclosures have managed so far.
UASP protocol
Fairly well designed ventilation and not too much noise
For HDDs great, for SSDs not so much because the "total" speed of 1GB/s is not enough (say each SSD is 500MB/s, so with a load of 4 it can handle a maximum of 250MB/s on each). But that's a small thing.
