The first meeting was disappointing. I tried in vain to connect the camera via iGET Home. Only when I installed iGET M5 was the connection fine. Another disappointment was discovering that the official cloud storage has an invalid certificate on the Web. What kind of trust does it inspire in a person to post private videos there?
Fortunately, the camera offers support for various protocols. I tried RSCP. You can connect to the online stream via VLC player. Then all I had to do was install SurveillanceStation on the Synology NAS. Add a camera and save the recording there. If you want to have a backup in the cloud as well, just pay similar money for C2 Surveillance.
I tried to connect the camera via supported Onvif, unfortunately without success.
The last drawback is that both Synology SurveillanceStation and iGET M5 apps cannot limit notifications to the time periods I'm interested in.
