After the difficulty of choosing a thermometer (there are horribly conflicting reviews on all of them), I reached for this one because it has an overwhelming number of positive reviews on Amazon. It really measures reliably if more measurements are taken and on the temple rather than the forehead, the average of the results then corresponds to the result according to the rectal thermometer. So great, I recommend it
