I have discussed the watch issue with several parents. Considered Lamax and other brands, got a number of discouraging experiences, mainly with regard to 1+ day endurance, GPS inaccuracy, etc. We found Imoo through a recommendation and so far, despite some reservations, it is what we were looking for. Don't buy the z6 version, it's on Android with lousy endurance. The z7 version, on the other hand, looks very good, it is not yet available in the Czech Republic.
Solid battery life 3-4+ days compared to other manufacturers
Precise GPS
No games and distractions for kids to drain the battery
Instant popularity with the child, willingness to use outdoors versus mobile
A relief for parents who want to let the kids out and occasionally see where they are and have peace of mind: -)
Restrictions on who can call the child, we only use contacts added by us
Average display quality, I recommend to have a protective film applied
English only, but neither us nor the child mind that much
Check-in zone - I was expecting to enter GPS coordinates give or take some tens of meters around. Instead, you have to choose from wi-fin what the watch sees in that location.

I don't understand why ALZA sells watches for children without English, after 2 hours of futile efforts to adjust the watches packed and returned.
