Operated together with the Insta360 X4 and I can' t imagine using the X4 without this accessory. It' s absolutely perfect. I turn on and switch all functions and settings on the " watch" attached to the grip of the 3m selfie stick, so I don' t have to keep climbing it like a monkey.
Firmware must be downloaded and updated for use with X4. This is done using the phone and via bluetooth. I tried to connect the watch to the camera first, which was successful and everything worked, but without online preview. However, I added work to myself. Following the instructions, I connected the " watch" directly to the phone, but the firmware update failed repeatedly. The idea to TURN OFF the camera COMPLETELY helped.
Then don' t forget to turn on BT accessories in the camera menu.

After a somewhat problematic first firmware update with X4 functional and the preview really came in handy.

After a somewhat problematic firmware update to the latest version, I can say that the driver works acceptably with X4, so far I haven't encountered anything annoying.
Compared to the driver without preview from X3, I rate this driver with preview for X4 as a new quality.
With the supplied firmware (about 10 small versions older than the current version) the driver paired with the X4 and it was possible to stop and start recording, but the preview did not work. No problems after the preview update.
Upgrading the firmware by those 10 small versions was successful only on the third attempt. There was no other firmware for the driver yet, so I don't know if the update solved the problem.
Never leave the magnetic charging cable plugged into the power supply with the controller disconnected, it is much more dangerous than with regular USB cables. There is a risk of a magnetic conductive object (surely a metal part of another cable connector would suffice) being pulled onto the power supply pins and short-circuiting with all its possible manifestations. Depending on the source to which the cable is connected, perhaps even with melting of the cable insulation and fire. An acquaintance showed me a magnetic charging cable with a similar design from a watch with completely melted insulation, where this is what happened to him. I rate his incident with the cable that fortunately he noticed the smell of melting insulation in time, because otherwise it could have been much worse.
