Being a time traveler, I can' t tell what year it is. The information about the year cannot be found. I expect this feature in a digital watch.

The watch is of high quality and I can recommend it to anyone who is interested in knowing and improving their fitness. So far, I have tried Walking, Hiking and Climbing floors from the available activity modes. The pedometer works great, except for false steps caused by rhythmic manual work (like with a file). When walking very slowly, it is better to put your hand with the watch in your pocket, otherwise it counts steps twice. Wrist pulse measurement is very reliable and reduces battery life by less than 10%. Blue Tooth's connection to your mobile phone is similarly effortless. For the watch. It cuts the "range" of the mobile phone by about a third. I recommend not using a pulse oximeter unless it is really important to you. It can consume more than half the battery capacity. The altimeter/barometer also works solid if you set it up properly (mode and calibration). Pilots will have it easier. The others have to experiment a bit. Unfortunately, the manual corresponds to the modern style - i.e. doesn't say much, it's more of a description. To properly record the ascended floors, you must set the mode to Altimeter. I tried the navigation briefly. No comfort, but it serves its purpose. Especially in unpopulated areas. For hikers, I recommend the Garmin Explore app with free topographic maps. I compared the sleep measurement with the Mi Band 2, and Garmin's is incomparably better. It may be a little difficult to distinguish between a peaceful lounging in bed and REM or light sleep, but when compared with the graphs of movement, heart rate and stress, you can get a very decent idea of the quality of rest. The stress measurement and Body Battery seemed more like a source of amusement to me at first, but by comparing the reality with the measurement, I came to the conclusion that this is one of the most successful health features of the watch. I'm sorry that the Garmin Connect app doesn't allow you to view data logs from the watch without an internet connection. Also, the watch won't alert you to calendar events at the set time without a mobile connection. I was hoping to get rid of the quirk of the calendar on my smartphone, which with icy calmness beeps 15 minutes late and only once. The golden stupid cell phone that announced accurately and until I acknowledged the alarm. The controls are quite clear. I got used to it quickly. Perhaps only the SET / BACK button would be better named TMR (timers) / BACK. The customizability of the menus and screens is excellent. Battery life after the first charge was 7 days (with oximeter). After the second charge I got 51% after 9 days. This includes 1 hour of hiking with GPS + Galileo, 10 hours of BT connection with mobile, 30 minutes of measured walking daily, heart rate monitor permanently on, no oximeter. The watch contributes to the endurance by cleverly switching the display rewrite frequency. Normally changes values after 1 s except for the stopwatch. If the motion sensor detects a hand at rest, after 30 seconds it switches to the minute display. It's not a lagging CPU as I thought at first. Just move your hand and we're off again in seconds. The solar only slows down the battery discharge, so if you plan to use high-power features, it probably won't help you much to extend the battery life by a few minutes to an hour. In addition to the weather, inappropriate orientation of the watch (facing away from the sun) can also ruin solar charging. Therefore, you won't lose much if you choose a watch without a solar panel. They are just big enough for a guy's wrist, the silicone strap is nice and long enough. I only point out the height of the watch case (17 mm with the heart rate sensor, 14 mm above the wrist surface). They don't have to fit into the narrow sleeves of shirts. You may have to redo your buttons. Because I wear the watch to work in the factory, I had a protective film professionally applied to the glass. Somehow I forgot that professional doesn't mean proper, it means for money. A grain of sand and a speck of dust crept under the foil. About half the display is uneven. It doesn't hinder use, and since the watch will soon suffer some sort of scratch at work, I don't bother complaining about it. However, I recommend sticking the foil by yourself. You can probably do it with better results or cheaper.

I am a fan of automatic watches and I have resisted smart watches for a long time. This is a reasonable compromise, they are not exactly smartwatches, and that suits me exactly. The look is great for me. Button control is extremely convenient. I just take it in the shower. The only thing that annoys me is that I don' t carry my collection of slot machines .: -)

+Heart rate sensor - shows relatively accurate readings even during sports activity, which most other smartwatches have a problem with this, I guess there accuracy is almost like having a chest strap. A big plus for me. +Navigation is accurate and I connected immediately, I didn't even have to wait, it takes longer to set up an activity than to connect to the GPS and route navigation is great, you just need to download the map to your watch. But it is only possible to have one map in hours, so if one goes for a few days e.g. hiking and in order to be navigated by his watch, he has to download maps on his mobile phone and update it. -The weather is reset every day, so you only have the current weather in the clock, a few hours later there's an exclamation mark and the next day you have to connect to your mobile and the internet to show the weather in hours, which is a bit nonsense. Measurement of blood oxygen saturation can only be done manually during the day and nowhere is it stored in the long term or in a graph, if one wants to see older values, it only shows when one last measured and what the value was and even that can only be measured if one is standing/sitting completely still and not moving, but the measurement should be relatively accurate. The graph for the pulse oximeter shows only during sleep as a sleep analysis and even here you have to set approximately when you go to sleep, so unless you go daily at the same hour and get up at the same hour it is quite inconvenient. Because if you set a longer sleep time from 10pm to 7am and you happen to go to sleep at 4am, at 7am the device is already measuring the oxygen saturation in the blood, which is quite nonsense when the device still continues to monitor sleep and shows what stage of sleep it is, albeit inaccurately. (I'll probably try to set the sleep measurement 24/7 only I'm worried about the battery, it will shorten much more) And overall the sleep analysis seems to be very inaccurate, just when I play on the computer in the evening, while I'm in the time period as set, the watch shows that I'm asleep, but I can additionally adjust in the app that I didn't fall asleep at 22:00 but at midnight, which I would expect such an expensive device to be able to detect, when a cheap 30€ fitness watch did it relatively more accurately. (I don't know if I just have a bug in my watch but after a few hours of sleep, like measuring the saturation in my blood, the sensor doesn't keep up anymore so for a while I'm dead "sensor snoozing about" and then it measures correctly again: D, because relatively it measures accurately only after a few hours of sleep it starts to go wrong for a short time, maybe just need another software update) I bought the watch because of the 4 functions: GPS, heart rate that's a 100% rating. But Sleep Analysis, Pulse Ox these other two I prefer not to rate here. therefore 3 stars. +-So evaluation, as a watch/fitness bracelet with additional features with GPS and heart rate measurement, sport, durability, battery life it's my rating at 100%, but other features and especially features like that sleep analysis, here you should think about another device (maybe fitbit) when you want to track that too.
Heart rate sensor
easy
scratch-resistant, waterproof
button control (for me this is a plus)
Navigation
route navigation (accurate and reliable)
battery life is great as long as one does not use sleep analysis
option to turn off bluetooth
Pulse Ox2 - can only be measured while the person is completely still, but completely, a small movement will interrupt the measurement)
weather (I will explain in the description)
sleep analysis (probably very inaccurate and I don't even need another device to tell me it's very inaccurate, almost a useless feature, but I keep trying anyway)
route navigation (only one map per hour is possible)
battery life real 11days when sleep analysis and Pulse Ox measurement is on
display of charts on mobile is very poor, very amateurish
