Verified purchase - review from a price comparison website
Pleasant performance even with integrated graphics at a more than affordable price
Very economical when idle, only gets above 34° when running a demanding program
Why are they changing the socket again?
Socket looks again more susceptible to damage than previous generations

For the money, super performance is enough for any common office applications.
Torchu higher fan than the previous series - for low chassis can be a problem. It can be solved by buying another fan.

Excellent, powerful Linux CPU at low price, high performance, virtualization, low power consumption
very high performance compared to regular VMs in the cloud (I only use Linux as a server)
low power consumption (especially in idle mode, the processor automatically underclocks and saves energy)
supports virtualization
Half as fast as a mid-end notebook
low price
comes with a cooler that is also braced, so you just snap it in and that's it
I don't like the pins on the motherboard, the sticker on the CPU in the socket, the white and poorly visible arrow drawn directly on the CPU determining which corner should match the arrow engraved on the silver surface of the socket. This whole socket mechanism could be designed in such a way that nothing could break or bend, and that the CPU could be inserted correctly or that the socket arm could not be pushed down if inserted incorrectly. It will let you with the current socket 1700 break the pins and destroy the socket, which given how many decades different sockets have evolved could be solved somehow better, even considering how fancy they are e.g. PCI-E slots for graphics cards that have e.g. button, through which it is ejected from the socket, and are not involved in any other way, etc. CPUs should just have a more sophisticated socket, make them easier to plug in and out, maybe even some button that would eject the pins from the board only when it detects that the CPU is inserted correctly, and then retract them when pressed again in order to disconnect the CPU. Someone innovate Intel sockets, we don't want to see CPU pins anymore, there are only problems with CPU pins, put a button there and automatic conditional pin ejection only after CPU connection.: )
