For little money, a lot of music
Unfortunately, the processor falls into blue death when reducing the clock and performance lasts a week or two then you need to further reduce the clock to keep the processor from falling into blue death. For me, I guess it's unlucky that I came across a defective piece and I'll have to claim it
I recommend a quality watercolor
I wouldn't even put the consumption in the negative. Just because of the performance this processor can run at and not sweat though, it's a disadvantage.

This guy is messing around on the latest games with Unreal5 engine, that's good, now I'm wondering what besides graphics projects are those i7 and i9 processors and why people buy it for games. This processor will feed a premium rtx4080 just fine. Price 7.2k at time of purchase.

The guys convinced me to go with i5 instead of i7 and so far I have no problem. It fits into the smaller box just fine with the water cooling keeping it cool without any problems. With i7 I would have to go for a bigger box and better cooling. I keep winking at the i7, but I don't really have a reason, it's just my exaggerated need to have a "reserve". At least I saved on other accessories like a proper keyboard, mouse headphones and stuff.
So far I haven't encountered the slightest problem

My colleagues saved me some money when they talked me down from an i7 to an i5: D because so far everything is totally fine

How did Intel do this? I do not understand that. Temperatures under air perfectly fine even under full load for several minutes (stress test). The highest temperature measured was 72 degrees.
