The fact that the system has a fan whose noise you can control is more of an advantage
system speed: two different SSDs tested: WD SN570 - PCI 3.0 and Kingston SSD FURY Renegade- PCI 4.0, in Crystal Disk Mark both reads about 16 GB / s, but in practice Kingston 4.0 is faster to read and its speed, although it works in slower 3.0 is, at least for me, absolutely sufficient
temperatures: both mentioned SSDs have very similar, low temperatures in this NUC at low load, example: internet + HD video + office setting Fix speed at approx. 32% - vent. at about 2000 rpm, the temperature of both SSDs is similar - according to Bios up to 35 °, processor up to 46 °,
Sound: 3.5 mm output jack works without problems i jsko Line out for connected audio equipment / amplifier,. /
Consumption: idle cca 13 W, video in HD VLC player + intenet cca 17 W
