No sooner had the bat landed in my Alza box than I pulled it out of the pretty well made case. However, despite the clear cover, I could feel the sharp bottom edges, the cutout was like when I was in 5th grade learning how to use a file in the shop. For a moment I even thought about adjusting it at home, but then I looked closely at the handle and there was a splinter sticking out of it. I don't understand how this could pass any scrutiny. If I got the wrong piece, I guess it's my bad luck.
