I bought the elephant as a gift for my friend's newborn baby - and they were thrilled. The elephant is smaller, well filled so that it sits and does not tip over at the slightest crushing (there is no risk that if it is in the crib with the baby and the baby stumbles on it, the plush toy will fall on it). But it is also suitable for children from 0 months - so it will be extra durable. I think it's a great first toy. Plus, he's incredibly cute.
