It doesn't beep at all. It's just a weird crackle in the speaker.
The martens are running around in the engine compartment merrily on. I can see that. They leave marks that I wipe over and over again.

I have it on two Š-Octavia III cars - before installation there were "paws" on the plastic cover of the engine, filter and battery - so the marten was definitely there at least twice, but the wires and hoses were not chewed. After the scarecrow was installed, the tracks did not appear again, even though they were parked in the same places. But I can't know if the device scared/repelled her or if she didn't even want to go there. The app on the phone really UZ indicates the different levels according to the position but who knows . ?
