Pro login to Win. Satisfaction, it works. Mounted in a monitor that has a HUB and doesn't even mind that it sticks out. Sometimes it happens that it doesn't load, but I think it's just the way it's attached (longer loading time).

It is only able to read the print in 2/3 of cases. I tried with the same finger that my reader failed to open the phone even on the third attempt, the phone responded immediately. My phone is a Doogee V30, so no high tech. The reader protrudes about 1 cm from the port, can not be carried plugged in the laptop. For this price I would expect at least a 90% success rate. Definitely not recommended.

I use on a desktop PC with Windows 11 to log into the system using Windows Hello. It works quickly and without problems. It finds the drivers by itself. I don't use the reader for anything else.
Remark: I bought the Axagon USB Hub here in the shape of a puck, which has one USB connector perpendicular to the top and connected it next to the keyboard. Logging in is then very easy and at your fingertips.

The description here is misleading.
It only registers with the system as a fingerprint reader for WIndows Hello and not as a "security key" (Windows 10).
It is not possible to use it in applications or interconnect systems that do not directly support WH.
Neither the Verisign Password Manager app mentioned above nor the new version supplied directly from Kensington works with this model because it requires a "security key"
Works with Windows Hello as a seamless Windows login.
Can be used in some applications to add security to the name and password you enter.
It works ONLY with WIndows Hello, it does not work with applications that do not support WH.
Cannot get instead of entering name and password (does not support FIDO F2A).
The management tool downloadable directly from the product page does not work with this model.

Seamless integration into Windows Hello

Reads fingerprints very reliably
I was unable to get the integration with other products to work. Where Windows Hello is not supported, it doesn't work. It's not a big problem for me, but many of the usage options don't work (in Win 10). When used with a laptop, it may be annoying that it protrudes about 1 cm from the USB port.
