Oval shape of the earbuds => it rests directly on the head and therefore does not hurt the ears (the ear fits into it completely, unlike the round ones)

KOSS used to have a lifetime warranty - it's a pity that this option is not available with these (SB/45 USB)
The construction isn't very strong and I know from experience (these are the second ones) that the plastic will break off over time from simple use.
