this is not a positive point of the camera, but of Alza - exemplary resolution of the complaint with the camera.
the magnetic holder looks great on paper, but in the end it is useless. anyway the camera stays permanently in the car and on the contrary it seemed to me that the voltage fluctuates through the contact.
the second time I bought a LAMAX product and the second time I ran out. During the day OK, as it gets darker over the recording there are streaks and the picture is unusable. It is completely inconsistent with what the manufacturer boasts in the promotional video.
if the camera is powered from USB, it has a problem with quick start, when you first turn on the electricity in the first position of the ignition and the camera turns on and starts recording. At that moment, if you don't wait a few seconds and start the car, the power supply is interrupted and the camera starts up again - but sometimes it doesn't record itself. and reports not finding the card and needing to format the card.
the old MiniUSB connector. nowadays a bit unusual, the attempt to have a connector at the mirror, the cable is unnecessarily long
being an Alsa, I'm gonna knock LAMAX products out the door. They're just ruining their name. Fortunately, Alza's approach is nearly perfect, no matter what any of the "twos" say. the money refunded on the second claim.

I don't understand that a quality store like alza sells such a product. The 64 GB card that is offered in the accessories does not work, I had to get it into FAT32 format in a complicated way, then the camera at least loaded the memory card, but after reformatting the camera it immediately stops working. So I tried the 8 GB memory card, it worked fine, but when connected to the PC it cannot be loaded and requires formatting(so that one is useless too). Just nonsense, absolutely not recommended. This is the first time I have encountered such a "quality" product. I'll be back in a week.

I bought the camera for a VW Passat B8. At first, everything looked without problems until I connected the camera and drove off. While driving, the vehicle started to report a problem with the vehicle key, when the message “the key is not in the vehicle“ kept popping up (although of course it was). The buzzer kept popping up while driving. Subsequently, I even started getting a message with a transmission failure. All problem messages appeared after connecting this camera and disappeared again when disconnected. So I returned the camera. I have no idea whether it was the wrong piece, after the above experience I did not try it for the second time.
