Good enough for calls and messages
Even when my son is outside, the GPS position is not updated at all according to the set interval, it does what it wants.
There is no point in having wifi and lbs positioning on.
Anyone who really wants to know the location should buy another

Cons: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the watch. The quality of workmanship is lousy. It's a kid's watch, so maybe it should last a while. Unfortunately, the glass is made of such a material that you can just look at it and immediately create mega scratches. After a week of use, the watch looks recharged, like the devil's toys. As for the location representation in the app, it's unusable. It shows by the wind. It could be five blocks away. At the moment my daughter has them at school and the location shows that she is at home (about 1km from school) so unusable. The watch was bought for Christmas. They were only able to be put into operation about 10 days after Christmas due to overloaded servers. This has never happened to me with competitors. Pros: Oddly enough, they show the time. Pedometer.
Shows the time
inaccurate position
watch quality - lousy
commissioning time at Christmas

We bought the watch for our 7 year old son as a Christmas present, it was meant as a precursor to a mobile phone, which we don't want to give him yet. I also wanted to keep track of where it was and my idea was that if it was lost, we could find the watch by location. Well, we wouldn't find that. The location is unfortunately very symbolic and inaccurate, whether the child is inside the building (school) or outside. It just tells you that it's in the city limits (it often shows up in the middle of a pond, which really adds to the peace of mind). The advantage is that it is a hand-mounted mini-mobile, which poses less risk of loss. There are no ads, only the numbers you save in your contacts. The call sound is clear and of good quality. Messaging and all localization works only through the Lamax App, which is unfortunately quite user-unfriendly, and no improvements are planned for now (verified with the helpdesk in January 2022). So the localization doesn't work as much as it works, it normally shows my son about 5km further away than he is - which can be a bit stressful. I've recently discovered that there is no missed call register on the watch, so if I call my son and he is in the dining room and doesn't hear it, he won't call me back because he won't know that someone called him at all. For now, the watch is a chore for him to make calls from, but I fear that what the watch can't handle will soon overwhelm what it can. I'd make a different choice next time. It is important to clarify what the watch is primarily intended for - communication or localization.
good mobile phone replacement - the child has a mini-mobile on his/her hand (less risk of loss)
call quality sound
security - the child is only called by the number stored in his contacts
you control everything only through the paired phone of the parent
no games, ads, net access
The materials of the dial and bracelet look like they could withstand something. Can be tightened even on skinny wrists.
battery lasts about 3 days
You can set the "do not disturb" mode from to
one watch can only be controlled by both parents if they share the same access data
multiple watches (children) can be controlled from one app
does not show missed calls, the child does not know that someone called
sound cannot be turned off on cheaper models
no possibility of vibration
Localization sucks. I know the kid's at school and he's showing me about 5 miles away.
sends messages in the form of voice messages, text message only one line, no more can fit on the display. Can't scroll down.
communicates only through the Lamax app, which is pretty much a dud and no upgrade is planned (verified with the helpdesk 1/22)
waterproofness rather symbolic (rain, hand washing). It's not for swimming.
we bought it as a Christmas present and it will last until 28.12. it was not possible to get the watches to work at all - supposedly because the app was overloaded and the number of users had increased (many children got watches). The manufacturer should probably take that into account. Helpdesk response time of at least 3 days. Imagine an excited child and a malfunctioning watch on call.
the pedometer cannot be said to realistically measure steps
you can't set the time on the watch manually or through your parent's phone. This is set automatically via the signal from the transmitter, which works again only via the Lamax software. So in the post-Christmas period, when the neighbourhood was overwhelmed, the watches didn't actually fulfil the function of a watch

Shame to say - avoid this product. Rather, buy your child a cell phone outright.
Unusable product

And I could go on and on like this. I definitely don't recommend the watch and certainly not for a child you want to have control over, it's a waste of money.
GPS inaccurate as you are in the building so deviation about 6km
Signal almost always one line or nothing
Battery life catastrophic (already two complaints 1 watch KO 2 batteries won't even last the child to the end of class)
Connection to the app almost broken, inaccurate information and messages not coming

The app without which the watch doesn't work but the app itself is so overloaded that it just doesn't work. a big mistake and unpreparedness of the manufacturer. Lamax will never disappoint again
