I primarily bought the laptop through the promised great battery life (I promised myself at least 12 hours, realistically 6-8 with my workload) and Linux support, but unfortunately it was still not time to switch from Macbook... Otherwise a very promising competitor to Macbook air or Dell xps13

A perfect representative machine, where finally everything in terms of HW works as it should. The keyboard finally lights up reliably (and not that you have to manually start it once in a while when it "forgets" to start itself, as is the case with most Win ntb), Windows Hello has a perfect detection like I have not seen elsewhere, finally the laptop does not alert you that you are far away, close or God forbid that you have to tilt the screen to make it see you, sometimes I feel like it can see around the corner, it unlocks even when you're not right in front of it, that's awesome, and likewise the fingerprint reader on the side is faster than average (although I know of faster ones). Immediate start-up after opening the lid is a matter of course. If you love Apple's sexy design and storage but, like me, think of macOS as a kid's toy and need Windows for work, this is the device for you. The battery is also great, all-day battery life is a given. In power saving mode, even 15 hours (but at the expense of performance). The only big disappointment for me is the performance of the CPU 185H, which is top in synthetic tests, but in practice you don't feel it much. I wanted this laptop as a successor to the HP Spectre X360 with 1195G7 CPU, and it has to be said that when working in W11 Pro, this HP is all too often faster and more responsive than this Thinkbook (which is not the Thinkbook's problem as much as Intel's). Both in terms of system response time and loading of some applications (Acrobat), page loading, etc. So it can be pushed into the pocket by the i5-13420H, which is a flash against this Thinkbook with i9 185H! It looks to me like the 185H prefers to use the low-performance cores, and the high-performance cores are only used in rendering, where DaVinci Resolve's performance is again top-notch.
