Good as hardware, but it's unusable with anything other than Win11, and even with Win11 it's going to be a pain thanks to that MediaTek monstrosity. Maybe good for kids to fry Fortnite on, but it's really not for work. I wanted a computer to work on, not to have a computer to work with. I don't recommend it.
240Hz display is very nice
CPU has nice performance, 16C/32T is noticeable
The chassis is plastic, only the bottom and top cover are metal. It's definitely not an all-metal unibody.
The MediaTek MT7925 WiFi+ BT combo is absolutely terrible. Both under Win and Linux it is unstable. The load on WiFi (scanning, file transfer) leads to a tight shutdown of bluetooth and disconnection of all peripherals. Only a reboot will help. Not to mention the absolutely terrible stability of WiFi itself. The AP was next to the NTB and it still occasionally reset the WiFi connection. The problem is not the drivers, the problem is the card itself. The only solution is to replace it with Intel's AX210 or BE200.
You can't boot an RTX GPU under Linux. With OpenSource drivers RTX works only as a "passthrough" for iGPU. When using the official drivers, RTX is not able to go from D3cold to D0 power state. This results in external monitors not working because USB-C and HDMI are connected directly to the RTX. The cause is aggressive power saving with Max-Q, which the official drivers do NOT do.
