The laptop is absolutely awesome in terms of design, construction and portability. Great keyboard, nice display. Unfortunately, where machines with the new Intel processors still lose out to Apple's competitors is battery life. Realistic endurance - tested - on MacBook Air during normal work - writing, emails, internet, etc. actually reaches 20 hours. On this otherwise awesome machine, if I turn on save mode, making sure I don't have unnecessary apps open, I get maxed out at 7. If I don't turn on saver mode, pull down the display a bit, turn off the key backlighting, and have multiple apps running that are maybe still touching the internet, I'm at 5 o'clock.
