I was buying for my niece, from the offer it seemed like a reasonable price performance ratio. After unpacking, I was scared by the overall impression of the microscope. Light and all so unlivable. But my niece was thrilled. As a first microscope OK, but otherwise I would look for a (semi)professional one from the second hand store in this price level (1900Kč).

As a gift, the inquisitive child was very excited. For younger children, I also recommend you consider pocket microscopes (we got ours with the Carson MM-300 with LED).
A device with a good price/performance ratio;
The package includes several slides and a preparation kit;
Possibility to buy other accessories, e.g. camera;
The product is compact and lightweight;
Can be used with mains power and on AA batteries, which are included.
Without a cross table, slides are difficult to manipulate sideways;
Younger children cannot handle the microscope, the assistance of an adult is necessary.

for the price great, it is easy to focus and that is the most important thing. Top light for non-transparent materials, bottom light for transparent materials, power supply for both battery and cable.
you need to buy a cover slip for observing your own slides with a thickness of 0.17 MM at most for 400x observation, but this is at least 3 euros.
