After six months of opening the fridge door, the cable from the sensor on the door broke. From that moment on, the fridge beeps every 20 seconds and the unpleasant sound cannot be turned off. The whole fridge has to be turned off. I waited 9 days for a response from LG's service department, telling me to call the recommended phone number. For me personally a big warning why not to buy anything from LG anymore.
After half a year, the cable to the door close sensor broke, the fridge beeps every 20 seconds to the whole house.
