Nice design, quality workmanship, made of quality materials, does not look as cheap as mobile air conditioners from other manufacturers.
It has WiFi, can be controlled via a mobile application at home and away from home.
It' s really quiet (when I compare it to the mobile air conditioning I had before). In SILENT mode, you can have this air conditioner right next to your bed and you can sleep in comfort.
Well-designed hot air outlet, the outlet for the hose is upwards, so at the end of the season, when you are going to clean the air conditioning somewhere, the hose is placed in a vertical position directly on the air conditioning, as seen in the product photos.
The air conditioning is very powerful. The description states that it should have 10,000 BTU, the box of the product states 11,000 BTU. I had air conditioning from another manufacturer, which was supposed to have 12,000 BTUs according to the parameters, but it definitely had less cooling power than this LG and was much noisier.
The application has an energy consumption indicator, shows the current consumption in Watts and also the energy consumed in kWh for the period you define, so you have an overview of how much the operation of air conditioning costs you. There is also a percentage indicator of how clogged the air filters are and the application will alert you that the filters need to be replaced. I haven' t seen these features in any other mobile air conditioner.
You can run diagnostics in the application or via the IR remote control and the air conditioning will test itself (refrigerant pressure, all sensors, motors, etc. ). Maybe it' s not just a comforter and it' s really testing something, it' s hard to say.
The connection with Google Home is already working, it didn' t work before (until March 1, 2022).
SILENT mode can only be switched on directly with the button on the device or via the supplied IR remote control. This is not possible through the Android application. If it' s possible in the iPhone app, I don' t know, I haven' t tried it.
WiFi only 2.4 GHz, but I don' t see this as a problem.
The Android app is so slow and cumbersome, but you can use it, I haven' t tried the iPhone app.
