Overall, however, the advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages. A practical, well-made and elegant solution that I would definitely recommend.
A very successful washer-dryer combination that I am overall happy with.
The biggest advantage is the space saving, the large capacity of both drums and, above all, the practical controls located in the middle of the tower.
I also appreciate the modern design, relatively quiet operation and high-quality washing and drying results.
A nice bonus is the connection with the LG ThinQ app, which notifies you when the cycle is finished.
The purchase price isn't exactly the lowest
some programmes take quite a long time
the app could offer more settings options
Due to the heavier weight, you also need to carefully plan the delivery and installation.

The washer and dryer connection is just perfect.
quiet operation
app for monitoring and control on your mobile
connection to home assistant
Heavy, difficult to handle during installation.
during installation by Alza on-site, some minor damage occurred which we didn't notice upon collection, and it spoils the otherwise good feeling about the product

The quality of the washing and drying is unbeatable.
The control ergonomics, both on the device itself and in the app, are great.
Price corresponds to quality
Easy to use
The app works great
Beautiful design
Quiet operation for both the washing machine and the dryer.
The time saving is incredible
Delivery, installation, and testing went brilliantly.
The glossy surface is a fingerprint magnet.
Since getting the WashTower, our other washer and dryer set from a competitor has basically become a dust collector and looks like something from the Stone Age compared to the LG.

Quiet
It looks beautiful
Excellent drying
With the special programmes, you can't set the temperature and spin speed as needed in the app, unlike with the standard programmes

So far it's working without any problems, but I've only had it a week.
Easy setup
Design
Remote control
The weight (which is understandable)
When starting both the washer and the dryer, there's always a cracking sound (presumably the safety lock on the door), which is also understandable, I'm just worried about wear and tear in the future.
I can't see the time until the wash/dry cycle finishes before starting – it only calculates it after it starts, which makes it harder to plan. However, you can solve this by pausing it briefly.

So far we're very satisfied, everything works as it should and after 10 years of replacing old appliances, it's a step up in both design and functionality. We love the control display, which means we don't even have to read the manual and understand everything straight away. Plus, it's in Czech, which wasn't a requirement, but it's a nice bonus, as is the mobile app. Another pleasant surprise was that the package included all the hoses, so I didn't have to buy anything; even a Y-piece for the waste pipe was included. I understand that at this price point, separate washer and dryer products have more programmes, but I'm afraid we wouldn't have used them anyway, and what the tower can do is more than enough for us. What's more, the tower units can work together. The dryer prepares itself based on the washing machine's programme for what it needs to dry and preheats accordingly.
Beautiful product
You don't need a stacking kit between the washing machine and the dryer.
the connection between the wash and dry cycle
internal drum light for the laundry, just like in the advert, see photo
The control panel is in the middle for both appliances, so you don't have to operate the dryer at the top, which shorter people can't reach.
everything nicely in Czech, although that isn't a requirement
mobile apps
Even though it's one product, you get two 230V power cables and two drain hoses, as if it were two separate appliances.
When spinning at top speed, the washing machine resonates more than our original 10-year-old one did; it doesn't do this at lower speeds.
The product's weight is brutal, 128kg. One person really can't manage it on their own, not without some machinery :)
