I didn't believe it would work for the money, but it does. Plugged into the PS5 as a shelf light and it lights up every time I turn on the PS5 without a problem and goes off again when I turn it off. I have it set to permanent blue light, but switching colors and adjusting brightness via the controller worked fine too.

impossible to remove the protective tape. I had to glue the end of the connector, with both sides, but it doesn't matter behind the monitor.
After a couple of days, the buttons and dials go crazy and switch to different colors than what's on them
