the control with a series of buttons and both wheels is excellent
colour matches nicely with Space Grey MBP
connects seamlessly with macOS (but you need to install the Logitech app for full functionality)
battery life so far very decent (uncharged out of the box, used for a week a few hours a day, and still does not require charging)
it does not have a dongle to connect to Windows (it is not explicitly stated in the description, but there is a dongle in the opening picture)!

Gestures are very comfortable and very easy to get used to
Tested bluetooth connection with Windows 10, macOS (10.15.7), Linux! (https://github.com/PixlOne/logiops) and it works great everywhere. On Linux (specifically Fedora 32) the setup is a bit more complicated, but it's pretty well documented.
Too bad the unifying receiver is not included, but it can be bought separately and will work
