My first Mac. I must highlight the design, power management and trackpad. Especially the trackpad/touchpad was by far the best I've ever had on a laptop - by a long shot. Battery life is phenomenal - completely incomparable to AMD/Intel laptops.
I was disappointed with the dipley. Colors, brightness and glare of the display cool. Unfortunately, each (my piece) suffered from inhomogeneous backlighting in the left third of the screen, which was observable even when browsing mostly white web pages. I also have a reservation about the smoothness of scrolling. If you pause for more than a few seconds on a web page and then scroll, the movement is not smooth at all. According to internet discussions, this is not an isolated problem. I blame it on aggressive power management, which makes the most of the opportunity to underclock the CPU to reduce power consumption. The same can be observed with some Android phones/tablets.
I finally returned the laptop within 14 days, probably because of the display. In the future I will give a chance to the Pro version.
