Easy installation, including internet connection. The sound of the amplifier is great (Magnat Monitor Supreme 1002 speakers). Great readable display. A decent CD drive. Fast remote control response when switching music channels (internet radio, CD, optical in. etc.). In its essence, a hilarious "contraption".
More complex menu control of the device when changing the selection from the list of saved favourite internet radios. Slower volume response when using the remote control. The manual says you can change the backlight color - it is set to white and can only be turned off or on (white would be my choice anyway; ). You need someone with weaker fingers to connect good quality (thicker) speaker cables to the back of the unit; ). I do not comment on the HEOS application.
