internet radio accesses the skyzone.net service. Hopefully this server will last, at least as long as the squeezebox.com that Logitech SqueezeBox radios used to work with until they stopped the service on 31.1 2024. I compare the functionality of Maxxo with the aforementioned Logitech, which I have used for 10 years. Internet radio is brilliant for listening to foreign stations, like French

internet radio, dnla media server (LAN repro), DAB and FM, BT repro
awkwardly written controls (cannot be switched on with the preset button)
only 4 direct preset buttons (internally there are plenty of "memories", but if you look, you'll be knocked to death)
preferences cannot be controlled from further away. drivers, its numeric keypad 0-9
relatively slow start from sleep, 5s even though the buffer is at 2s (min)
the display graphics are a bit poor, but you can live with it
black buttons on black background are elegant, but they are not visible (which is not a tragedy, but why!? )
