Even if it is switched off, it sends some minimal current and the led light glows a little. When I ran it through the current meter into the socket, it didn't measure anything, nor did the meter turn on to the minimum current. It's doing the same thing to my outdoor splitter. It doesn't stop me from using it, it's just interesting.
