for Christmas lights, it does what it's supposed to do. Unfortunately, in a double socket, only a single fork can be plugged into the second connection. there's no frills or anything like that attached to the nipple.

The socket runs on 2.4GHz Wifi and its installation must be done on a device that will be on the same network (i. e. not on 5GHz). After the initial registration, it is already possible to control the socket from anywhere - even outside the home network. The Smart Life app/account can be linked to Google Home (for voice control), but Google Home does not support all socket functions, only manual on/off.
