When attempting to connect to a home network protected by MAC address filtering with network password exclusion, the device cannot be added to the network and connected. First you have to encrypt your home network, which is known to slow down the whole connection and is pointless when macfiltering. After asking the manufacturer directly, this was confirmed to me.
