purchased as a replacement for the 3080ti, which started overheating after a year and a half. So far after a week of use there is nothing to complain about. Finally, I don't have a tanned leg from the sidewall.

A complete monster that can only be fully utilized at 4K resolution or with raytracing. I've noticed a lot of people complaining about the price, which is ridiculously high. Often people point out that the RTX 3080 cost $700, but the RTX 4080 costs $1200 (in the US). The RTX 4080 is roughly 50% more powerful but 70% more expensive, which many people don't like. I see a fundamental problem with this idea - I've never seen a new 3080 this cheap in my life, the cheapest ones cost around 40,000 kc. After the end of the graphics card shortage era, NVIDIA has found that it can afford to sell graphics cards for a lot of money, but it's nowhere near as steal as the RTX 3000 series graphics card prices. If you're craving near-total cutting edge, go for the RTX 4080
In addition to 4K resolution, the graphics card sleeps in any game - Extreme performance
4K with raytracing at 60 FPS
Fans off on the desktop, possibly with games that are not demanding
RGB is nice, can be set on and off
12VHPWR cable is nicer than 3x 8-pin, and just as safe when properly connected
20% more powerful than the 3090 Ti while consuming a third less power
Quiet even at the highest load thanks to the huge heat sink
Warms the room in winter
Dear
It heats the room in the summer.

sufficient memory for older VR titles (oculus quest 2)
pretty quiet (my i9 cooling makes more noise)
pretty decent PCB and power supply + backplate
appearance, in a glass cabinet is great
on 4K 60fps so far everything
Pretty well made for MSI (hopefully the fans will last, I have a bunch of Msi graphics lying around with non-functioning fans after a few years)
AV1 acceleration in OBS and support in adobe applications is great
takes up a lot of space in the cabinet, you have to take it into account
the difference between silent/gaming bios is negligible

The price is insane but so is the performance, if you have the money buy it, if not save up and then buy it: )
Absolutely brutal performance, I changed from my old 2080TI and the difference is insane. Everything in 4K and min 60fps, not to mention DLSS and especially DLSS 3, it then climbs framerate up to 200fps (depends on the game of course)
As the performance is brutal so is the price, sure the performance will justify the price but still giving for "ordinary" (not Ti) 4080 35 thousand is a bit too much
My I9 9900K and RAM(3200mhz) were limiting performance, I needed to buy faster RAM and a new CPU(i5 13600KF). And only after buying these components does the 4080 run at max

Amazing card, except for the price. At 4k everything at max even with ray tracing without a problem. If you don't like ray tracing I recommend RX 7900XTX for better performance and lower price. If you have ARGB hardware from another manufacturer e.g. ASUS, etc., so they won't work together properly. Somehow they're fighting. First synchronization and over time the whole thing didn't even want to light up. After uninstalling the MSI software, everything works again
PERFORMANCE even with ray tracing!
Absolutely silent I don't even know when the fans start
Can be subvolted to 260W with 8% power loss
No whistling coils
Temperature around 60°C under load with ray tracing enabled
DLSS 3.0 incredible thingy
PRICE, PRICE and PRICE again
If you have ARGB hardware from another manufacturer e.g. ASUS, etc., so it won't work together properly
