As long as the bike/motorcycle doesn't get wet, the silicone lasts a really long time
If you don't want to slide around at home for a month, don't apply indoors: )

Be careful where you apply the product. I recommend somewhere outdoors where you don't mind it sticking in the surrounding area. I definitely don't recommend using it in the basement or at home. Wherever the product hits or the wind blows, the floor is wonderfully slippery even for several days: )
