I have two for cooling (I "spin" them on the freezer when needed), one for warming the bed before bed. It's absolute nirvana, how warm it is under the covers, even when the bedroom is cold. Heating in the microwave is cool. Against the instructions, I leave it at 600 W for about two minutes. The bag is quite hot, but it does an incredible job of warming up.
