A well made lamp that does not overheat by itself (if the flame starts to flicker/flicker, it will suck more kerosene and the flame will move from the wick to the construction of the control part = more overheating, more kerosene. = cannot be extinguished/problem - THAT DOES NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM - unless you move the wick some 10 cm, logically), which is definitely a good thing. It's nice to look at. The ejection mechanism works smoothly and seamlessly. The supplied hat is of course removable, but it makes the kerosene lamp look better. Its luminosity is excellent and even for small conditions it shines enough (but it depends on the purity of the glass, the fuel used, the wick. ). It also gives off quite a bit of heat. I definitely wouldn't use kerosene in it though - lots of smoke and smell = can't be used inside. If you put lamp oil in it, it won't smoke nearly as much and won't smell at all = it's fine to use inside, for example for emergency lighting or just to relax.
