The whole product looks very good on the surface, but functionally it is much worse. The video is shot in FullHD, but the quality is poor at 576p. And when much of the marketing is based on the FullHD incantation, it's quite a shame. I don't know if I had bad luck with a defective piece, but the audio recording is terrible and completely unusable. The camera draws over 400 mA during recording (at 13.8 volts) and heats up quite a lot, but what's worse, it happened that after turning off the ignition the recording did not turn off at all. After disconnecting and reconnecting the power connector, it suddenly started working and the camera had a power consumption of only 2 mA when switched off. Fortunately, the fact that the camera is still running can be seen on the remote control. Streaming video in the app sometimes feels like a very slow slideshow. The camera was supposedly running the latest firmware version.
