Even though the camera has a USB-C port, if you plug it into a USB-C port it won't work. It only works with the old USB. NAVITEL official support referred me to the USB-C to USB-A adapter and then connect the USB-A to USB-C cable again. which you really let them do.

I was buying the camera on sale for 1999, - with the understanding that I wanted a 4k with a mount that could be easily changed between multiple cars. The camera does this perfectly for the price. However, the significant drop in video quality in forests and in heavy rain/snowfall is disappointing.
excellent video quality in good weather in the city, perfectly legible RZ, incl. of perpendicularly parked cars

small size, easy to hide behind the mirror and does not obstruct the view

Outside the city (especially places with trees) and in rain/snow the video quality drops rapidly (video has low bitrate), the readability of the RZ is then quite poor to impossible
video saves in. TS containing 2 h.264 streams, one in low resolution 640x360 25fps and the other in full resolution 4K 30 fps (it is quite a problem to play or cut it without conversion somewhere)
the package does not include a usb-c to usb-c cable, only a hard usb-c to ignition and a short usb-c to usb-a cable for connection to a computer
