Aluminum plate and adjustable counterweight value (which are available in other brands only in pro machines much more expensive) makes it a champion in the price/performance ratio
Detachable preamplifier (i.e. HiFists can connect, for example, a tube preamplifier after switching to phono; we'll leave the others switched to LINE. and connect directly to an amplifier or active speaker) is also a privilege of better stands
Carrier brand. Audio equipment matches the price of the device
Solidly packed and yet easy to operate (you will only have to play with the counterweight for a while)
It doesn't have automatic shutdown and lifting of the arm after the record is finished (which on the other hand is comparable in price and features (has adjustable counterweight) thomson TT200BT has (which is less robust and all plastic) THIS IS THE SIGN OF HIFI OR DJ GRAMOFONES, I rather miss this feature, but it's not a reason to give one star less
The color is not black, it's more like anthracite and it's matte (forget about the polished piano black, that's what the thomson TT has in this price+quality category. )
