The fan mounting part has a diameter of 5mm, the cabinet mounting part has a diameter of 7mm. It's fit 2 fan manufacturers outside of Noctuii so it's more or less universal. If you are using a dust filter you need to trim the outer part. However, the fans hold up well even then. If you are concerned about the look of your PC you need to trim the inside as well and the rubber bands are then harder to remove/reapply. Installation is easier than with screws as you don't need any tools (shotblaster) and you can use your hands.
