Disaster!
Compared to the original fractal design silent series r2 140mm. With similar specs and claimed noise levels, the Noctua is unfortunately much noisier in real life at the same speed.
If the speed is controlled by the baseboard, and the Noctua is not running at 100% right away, then at least one of the three fans will not spin up (only twitch). Installed 3 of these fans in Casu. Always at least one(randomly not doing it one and the same), just doesn't spin up. I have to manually increase the rpm to 100%, then switch back to automatic speed control.
