Without it, oculus is far worse
After a year and a half, the plastic will start to disintegrate on its own and alza will really reject your claim
The white plastic starts to crack around the goggle attachment where it only holds the shape, so it' s very easy to break it later
the back black part came off on its own, the glue and the screw that holds it on just fell apart

The same attachment system as the original strap
The back wheel conveniently tightens the strap so that the Quest is really tightly pulled to the face - perfect for action games
The upper strap can easily transfer part of the weight of the entire assembly to the top of the head
The back adapter firmly secures the strap at the back of the head
It has to be tightly tightened on the face, which is not comfortable for a long time
There' s no forehead support, so most of the Quest' s weight is still on the face
It won' t balance the entire set like some competing straps
It is not possible to attach an additional battery
The occipital strap is only velcro - it' s a shame that it' s not adjustable with a wheel like the occipital one
