The design of the grips is ok, they hold on the handlebars, and the end caps for the ends of the handlebars in the package are also pleasing. The strange thing is that the more common 2.5 hex bolts are tightened with a triple. I' m hoping that when I rub them somewhere, the extra material will prevent the screw from being chewed up.
The main unknown when buying was the material for holding - I would give it a rating of about 50%. It' s not the downright slimy stuff that Force uses on those yellow grips, but it' s also not the soft, sticky stuff that Lizard Skins or Bontrager grips have.
I.e. fine for light use, also good for the price. But don' t expect a product for less than two hundred to match the grips at four times the price.
