The display is pleasant, easy to read in sufficient light, and unbeatable in sunlight. In the case of low light, since the amount of reflected light is reduced by the colour filter, it is necessary to use the built-in backlight, which has surprisingly low power consumption and adjustable white "temperature". Great for reading documents. The Boox app for handwritten notes is excellent, it really compares to writing on paper. The pen trace is precise and shows even the smallest strokes in detail. I can compare it to the iPad and Samsung. In their cases, writing in small type is pretty useless, the pen trail is imprecise and seems to shorten its path. The pen also works well in Microsoft OneNote (but it can only do a fraction of the functions compared to the Boox Note). Other apps (Concepts, Sketchbook) don't work well, the pen trace has a significant delay, but it ends up being relatively accurate, and you can write in them essentially blind. However, it is unsuitable for work use. I managed to activate Work Profile (Android Enterprise) with MS Intune on about the 20th attempt, but it was not possible to open web links from Outlook, Edge in Work Profile could not select and attach a file. Maybe it will get fixed with a new firmware version, Note Air 4C with version 4 can do it (but it also has Android 13).
Android
Fast processor and plenty of memory
Great app for handwritten notes (surprisingly much better than iPad)
Excellent display for outdoor use
Not yet touched "Work Profile"

I don't think it's worth getting a case with a keyboard and touchpad unless you absolutely need it. I have it, but I rather find the keyboard in the way and use it without, I write notes by hand with the stylus and the touochpad (not that it doesn't work), but still can't use it because of the "slow" scrolling of the cursor on the display - touchpad and e-ink don't go together.
maximum satisfaction
notes are great to write down
the books are great to read
with sensible energy management, it can last for several hours or even days of work
because of the protruding camera on the back, I always have to prop the tablet on the table to keep it from rolling out (for example, with a coaster)

super reader. For others it's a reader not a tablet!
But the reader is great, excellent.

The device is top-notch, but consumption needs to be optimized. Do not allow data and WiFi permanently, then the device will not last the declared weeks without charging.
I don' t recommend getting a protective film stuck on, because what I got is a tragedy and a deterioration of the ONYX screen. A beautiful matte screen becomes a semi-glossy and highly reflective surface on which you will definitely not see anything in the sun.
