For my purposes, it's plenty sufficient, I can't complain about anything. I dry fruit, mushrooms and pancakes made from sprouted wheat. It dries slower on the upper levels, faster on the bottom, the temperature control is excellent, it is not noisy and I find the shape practical.
If it had a time switch, it would be useful for things you know how long you want to dry.
